In both of the poems, 'Earth's Answer' and 'A War Song To Englishmen', men are labelled as those who have darkened and ruined the Earth. 'Earth's Answer' explores the traits of sexism in much further depth comparing to 'A War Song To Englishmen', whose themes are portrayed in a less clear and vague manner. William Blake has incorporated strong imagery and metaphorical terms into his poems which project the dark and light hidden meanings that lie within them. Blake's poems although ageing, continue to live on as they are originals and continue to stay relevant today, educating societies individuals with valuable lessons.
